Being set in my time abroad, this series allowed insight into the lifespans of friendships that were only created under unique circumstances of a limited cohort. The images are centered around Sydney’s nightlife, showcasing the importance of socilability in a time of extreme change while also highlighitng the simplicity of creating a makeshift life.
Although some of these friendships are no longer playing an active role in my life, the individuals photographed had played a significant part in both the memories being created and my wellbeing at the time of being taken, displayed through the images themselves.
