Sardine’s Cafe is the second series in a larger project centered around the creation of memories through liminal people, spaces and objects. Set in Paris, this series is captured between the months of July and August of 2025, a short but highly impactful and positive period within my life. Despite only being six weeks, I am confidantly able to say that this was the happiest I’ve felt (up to when I am writing this).

This is the most personally related project I have created, with each image being a specific memory that can be pointed out and shared between the people and places in it. In a larger overview, this series is documentation of not only a positive mental state but documentation of the unique frinedships that we’re created as well as the individual moments taht took place between Paris and Amsterdam.

I invite you to create connections to these images through placing their own memories in the centralized idea, relating it to a trip with friends or family, or even a time period in which you felt most happy.
